Dragon Gate ("Chinatown Gate" on some maps) is a south-facing gate at the intersection of Bush Street and Grant Avenue, marking a southern entrance to San Francisco's Chinatown, in the U.S. state of California. It, along with the older Sing Fat and Sing Chong buildings (at Grant and California), is one of the most photographed locations in Chinatown. With our online itinerary creator, San Francisco attractions like Dragon's Gate can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

Dragon's Gate Reviews
...and that's it. Not much to see and not as impressive as you might expect. Keep walking into Chinatown where more interesting stuff waits for you. more »
The most visible and iconic landmark to enter Chinatown; from here you know you are officially in the town. The street is where shopping begins. There are shops right in front with gigantic bronze... more »
I loved this place so much I visited it every day of my five day stay at the World Mark. Every time I went it was as if it was my first time there. There is simply to much to see, you will need to plan well when visiting Dragon's Gate, in order to have time to see and experience everything it has to offer. The best shopping deals are late evening hours. You will find all of those things you never realized you could not live without😊 It is an absolute must experience...
All of Chinatown is cool to see. I think the most interesting part is all the painted walls. As you walk through, there are paintings all over. Most are amazing. The details and colors are incredible. If you were standing there looking at them in the street or alley, you wouldn't believe they were there.
