Golden Gate Park is a work in progress. Everytime you go there is something new to observe, either because of the season, or because Park employees and volunteers are constantly working to improve the landscape. If you like blooming trees, now(spring) is the time to go. They are beautiful. I enjoy watching the buffalo, and seeing the windmills too.
Lots of nature all in one place. Native California plants including redwoods, plants grouped by continent, region, country, and even prehistoric age. The garden is laid out to permit you to see a lot of plants if you follow the perimeter trail, but to get deep coverage of your favorites if you crisscross the themed areas show on a convenient map available at the garden's entrance.
