Bao Dai's Palace represents one of three residences that belonged to Vietnam's last emperor. Bao Dai, the final ruler of the Nguyen dynasty, resided here with his family until the 1950s, when they emigrated to France. Admire the Art Deco building, constructed in 1937, and see the chambers and living quarters of the emperor, his wife, and children. View a number of personal items and art pieces that belonged to the late ruler, stroll the peaceful, flowered garden, or don a traditional regal costume and pose for some memorable shots. • The garden is well decorated and the view of the last emperor's residence is great. It's a great place to stay for a walk and a walk around The Crazy House.

  • Entrance fee was 40k when we entered. The taxi driver knew how to get here. We wondered as we left the paved road for a gravel one for sort of this drive. Anyways, this is an old summer palace for the last King of Vietnam. It was interesting to see, but it definitely is in need is some repairs. Budget no more than an hour to see everything and take a few photos. The grounds were our favorite part.
  • Typical Art-deco style house used by the last king of Vietnam as summer palace and then family house. The interior keeps the original state which is quite telling of the family’s life. There’s an interesting hide-away stairs inside the Queen’s bedroom. The exterior and the garden could have been better maintained. All the cafes are closed. Though the overall area with the surrounding farmstays have potential for cultural and ecological development.
