Linh Phuoc Pagoda, Da Lat

4.5
See the impressive glass and mosaic art at Linh Phuoc Pagoda. Built and funded by Buddhist monks in 1952, the ornate pagoda houses many sophisticated artworks, including a 49 m (160 ft) winding dragon mosaic made from beer-bottle glass. Upon entering the intricate main hall, inspect an abundance of highlights, including the Buddha's throne, a golden cast relief of the tree of enlightenment, and Vietnam's tallest bell tower. Right of the pagoda stands the three-story monks' house with well-equipped living quarters and a library. Expect a lot of tourists and crowds during your visit, since the site's popularity has grown rapidly over the years. • Years of work all in one place. Amazing how they assemble these pieces of work. Watched for a couple of hours how they construct the figures with wire and cement.  more »
  • We visited many pagodas during trip In South of Vietnam but this one just must see. It is really nice and totally different from others.  more »

  • One of the best temples I have ever visited. Despite the big crowd the place is spacious enough to enjoy. The decoration is breathtaking and so detailed that will blow your mind. Totally recommended.
  • Amazing place, one of the most interesting pagodas we’ve seen in S E Asia. Really intricate decorations! It was very busy when we went so I recommend getting there early morning. Also, we went on the steam train but it meant we only had 40 minutes to explore and we could have spent much longer. Also, make sure to search for the dungeon underneath the souvenir shop.
