Tam Coc, Ninh Binh

4.1
Explore an astonishing natural setting of limestone caves and karst rock formations at Tam Coc. The geologic compound was created by the erosive powers of the Ngo Dong River, which many villagers use to irrigate their crops. Go on a sampan tour on the scenic river to photograph the surrounding natural marvels and get acquainted with the local way of life. Besides passing next to strangely shaped caves and vegetation-covered rock formations, you can also visit nearby pagodas and monuments. • It is worth seeing and experiencing the Tam Coc. Despite the average weather in October, which we hit-the rain intermittancy, the landscapes are remarkable. In contrast to Trang An, there is a need to try to steal money-for drinks for rowers-they are then donated to the nomers in the boat sellers and so over and over again. Guides tell you not to be caught up in this phenomenon, because it is depraving. The average, suggested tip is 1-2 $.

  • Hoalu is more of a temple atmosphere than a castle. Because the history of Vietnam is complicated, how can I enjoy this place as a foreigner? Hard. Tamrok was pretty funny. If you're going to midsummer, don't forget to take measures because the sun is so great. It's been almost two hours and there'^^ s nowhere to run.

  • Tam Coc is stunningly beautiful and fun, but quite busy. I did not experience the attempts to sell product others report, but we were a small group of Europeans & Americans traveling with two local friends, so maybe that had something to do with it. Would I go back - Yes. Would I take others - definitely yes!
  • This area is considered the inland ha long bay. The scenery is really wonderful. We went in December and the rice paddies were just ponds at that point but it was still nice. Suggest coming with a guided tour if you’re coking from Hanoi. Plenty to see and do for a day.
